Update to vhosts tutorial, now supports OS X Leopard

We've made some edits to the Apache vhost tutorial to support Leopard. We found a few ways to improve the process for Panther and Tiger as well.

Apache and vhosts on OS X

When making websites and testing them locally you won't be able to use server side programming languages like PHP. You also can't use absolute paths to files or images which is a major drag. If you have a mac with OS X though you have the Apache web server already installed on your computer, you just need to turn it on and configure it and you can develop your sites locally instead of uploading your files to a remote server to see them working.

GAAdd

GAAdd automatically adds Google Analytics Code to your pages using unobtrusive javascript. You don't need to know javascript to use it, just follow the tutorial and you won't need to worry about pasting the code into all your pages. Best of all your code isn't there if javascript isn't available making your HTML a little leaner.

Cross Browser Stylesheets

Figuring out how to make your site look the same on all browsers is a big part of the work that goes into making the pages. The best (and easiest) way is to separate your fixes (aka hacks) into their own stylesheets.
